The Northshore Merchants Collective is a dynamic group of store and business owners dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy of the Northshore area in Chattanooga. This collaborative community works together to promote one another’s businesses, fostering a spirit of mutual support and local pride. Beyond business growth, the collective is committed to the beautification of the neighborhood, ensuring that the area remains welcoming and attractive to both residents and visitors. Through partnerships with local neighborhoods, the collective aims to strengthen community ties, while also organizing special events that bring people together to celebrate the unique culture of Northshore. By working in unison, the Northshore Merchants Collective creates a thriving, connected community where both businesses and residents flourish.
- Inclusion on the NSMC website with a feature of your business and a directory to your website and social media
- Inclusion on the monthly NSMC newsletter that goes out to our fellow business owners, neighbors, and customers
- Promotion of your business on the NSMC Instagram @northshorechattanooga and Facebook Page
- Membership fees are used to help fund annual neighborhood projects such as the revamp of Chalk Alley leading into Coolidge Park which had fallen into a state of disrepair
- Membership will also include special events such as participation in our Merry Market holiday kick-off and annual Window Treasure Hunt. In 2025, two more events are being added to our annual schedule for the Spring and Fall.
- Email notification of any concerns happening in the neighborhood (safety, traffic, events, theft, etc)
- Opportunity to attend meetings, meet fellow business owners, and share a sense of neighborhood community
